An About page? Oh God, who am I??

 

Well... I'm Lula, I'm studying for my degree in Astrophysics and sometimes I tag along to other lectures too. I've always loved discussing my spacey ideas with classmates and unlucky passersby, but with lockdown never-ending in the UK, I thought I'd shout my ideas into the void of the internet and hope someone writes back.

I took the unconentional route to where I am now. I pissed about at school in the normal fashion for kids from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and left when I was 18. Mum (lovingly) kicked me out of the door that summer in 2018 and I left on an adventure to the Galápagos Islands where I lived and worked for a few weeks. This, it would turn out, was a very pivotal moment in my life when my eyes were opened wide for the first time. This blog are the stories that follow.
